While I'm at it, here's a quick review of the nu Madonna album:
Candy Shop: Sounds ok. Timbaland? Quick beats. Dorky text, she's too old for "Come into my candyshop!" And isn't that 50 Cent's line?
4 Minutes: Well you've heard it. Justin and all, some sticky shit.
Give It 2 Me: Strange 80's beat, Neptunes? Sticky, I guess. Dodgy synths, kind of lame. Some Pharrell sayings in ending, don't help much.
Heartbeat: Timbaland? A bit slower. Justin. Lotsa synths. Silly.
Miles Away: Acoustic guitar, human beatbox. Timbaland? Sticky. Boring if you ask me. Give me a nasty beat, Maddie!
She's Not Me: Handclaps, Chic-like funk guitar. Timbaland? Strings. Way boring! Ace of Base-bad!
Incredible: Timba? Quick weird beat. Some synths on top. Uninteresting. Nice & Soft.
Beat Goes On: Neptunes? Sounds like Pharrell singing background vocals. Also soft & nice.
Dance 2night: Justin raps, a slow disco beat, cool bass, Justin sings, lyrics ripped off from Prince's Kiss. Like all songs, more pop than house/club. Soft & Nice. Best song so far. Good groove. Neptunes?
Spanish Lesson: Timbaland? Quirky beats. Spanish guitars. A flirt with the latin world. Good? Not really.
Devil Wouldn't Recognize You: Ballad. Second to last track. Anybody care? Boring!
Voices: Justin, Timba? (quirky beats). Boring? Yes.
All in all: A surprisingly dull album. Where did Angry-donna go? The only thing that can save this is to let some creative people like maybe Justice remix the crap out of it. Who'd want to buy this album? I have no clue. Listen to it for free? No thanks.
